You know, I have to totally agree with you! I'm glad someone has said it. I'm not sure what mothers are thinking these days when they let their children walk out of the house. Or, maybe the kids are doing this after they leave the house...hmmmm. Anyway, well said! I'm like you, they are pretty freaky, but I bet they are normal on the inside. Lets just hope it's a phase...ugh!

We were there Friday night too!!! And you are right!! I have never in my life seen such a sight!!! In, fact I ended up having to call 911 b/c there was a fight by Fiddlers Grove, this kid was bleeding so badly from where he had gotten hit with BRASS KNUCKLES!!!....were we at the Wilson County Fair or the STATE FAIR!?!?

Anyhoo....I really enjoy your website and your beach pictures are AWESOME! Abigail is really enjoying MJCA and Audrey loves 5th Grade so far. She misses the girls though. We need to get them together more often. She is BEGGING me to let her go to MJCA next year.

April,

I have been praying and thinking about you. I believe you will find the answers and comfort you seek. I know that you are one of the best mothers I have ever known and I will continue to pray for you to heal inside.
'in seeking wisdom, the first step is silence; the second, listening; the third, remembering; the fourth, practicing; the fifth, teaching others'

On behalf on my family we would like to say "Thank You" for everything that you and this school has done for Dustan. Yesterday while at the hospital I sat there in that room and watched as so many people came to see Dustan. It seemed like a never ending flow of friends. I am amazed at the faithfulness of such friends. Here it was a beautiful summer Saturday, a perfect day to be enjoying outside or on vacation, yet they came to Dustan. Not knowing how long he would be there or if he would ever leave there, yet they stayed. I really believe that if Dustan was still there now, there they would be also. Just like on the bracelets, "No Greater Love", his friends have shown a love that only can come from the one that Dustan loved so much, his savior Jesus. As much as it was a tragic day, having to say good-bye to Dustan, it will be a day that I will never forget. As much as Dustan has touched your lives, your school family has touched ours in a way that we will never forget!
